The other day a friend of mine at work asked me if I could make her 4 new wallets. I jumped at the idea! I thought wow… someone wants to pay me to make stuff!
The same friend had me make a zipper pouch and wallet a few weeks ago, I thought it was fun and I love to help out my friends. Normally I just make them what they want and don’t charge them anything because I feel guilty. But my same friend knits and crochets and said she understands the time that goes into doing this so she insisted on paying me.
It was actually really rewarding to give her the wallets this morning and her to hand me money.. I thought.. wow.. I really could do this if I tried.
Here are the wallets that she asked for, I took pictures of my fabric stash and told her to choose which ones she wanted. Once I had the info I went home that night and cranked out 4 wallets in a little over 2 hours. I love that she chose 2 of the new vintage fabrics from my thrift store score! They turned out amazing, if I say so

This reminded me right after I started sewing, a girl at work saw one of my purses I made myself and asked me if I could make one for her niece for christmas. I said sure! I was 2 months into sewing and thought cool!! I guess if I really start trying.. I might be able to get this going..
This is the bag I made for her niece to tote around all her stuffed animals.

More to come! I might just start actually using my Etsy site!!
Hope everyone has had a wonderful few weeks!! It been a little since my last post, I am sorry about that. I am going to get things in gear! I promise!!
