While trying to find a cheap folding table at our local thrift store, I came across some gems in the sewing section.
Such an untapped resource for me, I usually forget there is one up the street. The prices are unbeatable, there are vintage sheet, bundles, sewing machines, trimmings.. list goes on!! I just found out they added patterns to the selections, which honestly made me squeal like a teenage girl… yes embarrassing…
The coolest vintage prints, picked up some trimmings, and a few patterns!
This is my $7.17 bundle of goodness!!
Adorable Simplicity 3655 , baby overalls and jumpers, so many girlfriends are having babies in the next few months.
Vintage Butterwick 6175, honestly, LOVED the packaging, but it is a little advanced for me… but love the look of the dresses.
Simplicity 7911, Simple to sew shirts YAY
All were under $1.99 most were $0.39.Can not beat those prices! All the parts of the pattern were in tact, that is one thing you do need to check, when purchasing patterns at your local thrift store/Goodwill. I also laid them out gave them a misting of Lysol spray for good measure.
~~Yes I hate germs, but I am not a crazy antibacterial user.. you just never know who had stuff before you .. and it’s not like I can throw it in the washing machine on hot.
Fabrics went straight into the wash right after I snapped this picture.
Make sure you wash and dry (without dryer sheet or fabric softener) all fabric before using!
Check out these amazing trimmings, all purchased for between $0.29-$0.69 each!!!
Highly suggest stopping my your local thrift stores or Goodwill and see what they have! You never know what is sitting on a shelf!
Can’t wait to get to work with this fabric!
~What has been your favorite thrifty shopping experience and what was it you purchased?
Hope you have an amazing 4th of July with family and friends!!
Oh yeah, by the way… didn’t find a table…
