I knew about them but really didn’t watch many until I participated in a live 1099-K lab yesterday. Then I went nuts watching. I think I have gone through at least 5-6. One of the best ones so far that I watched was “The Best of Etsy Photography” by daniellexo.
Sideshow 7 is a great place for local artists to come together and get exposure for free! It’s an event that is open to the public for a small donation which allows the artists to have a weekend to showcase their goods.
So far this year, even though we are right in the beginning, it has been such an amazing time. I really feel like I am starting to fall into the swing of things and getting this going. I will have to find some part-time work to supplement my income till I can get this up and going like a well oiled machine. But I am totally enjoying the ride!
I couldn’t have asked for a better end to 2011, the only thing that really bummed me out about this year is being laid off. That was a huge blow but ended up being a blessing in disguise. It made me get off my butt and make it happen, instead of sitting and waiting for it to happen.
This afternoon I sat down at the sewing machine and cranked out an exciting new clutch to add to my Etsy shop!
